Newly opened problem, some problems with service but everyone try to make their best. I think next year it will be better.

So many good things about this hotel, but some very basic problems that really let our holiday down. This place really does not cater well for vegetarians. There is an omelette station at the breakfast buffet which makes lovely omelettes - but, if you're vegetarian, you can't have one because they use the same pans and gloves etc. to pick up vegetables and meat. If you choose a vegetarian omelette, your vegetables are picked up with the same gloved hand that was picking up meat for the person before you. And it's all cooked in the same pan. I raised this with the management and the following morning, they had changed the system slightly to avoid this cross-contanimation but then it went right back the original system the day after. No more omelettes for me then. Generally, all the a al cartes have a very poor choice of meals for vegetarian. There is literally nothing vegetarian at some restaurants. It is really disappointing, especially in e.g. the italian restaurant. How hard is it to have some nice vegetarian pasta dishes? Again, I raised this with the management and they arranged for me to have a meeting with the head chef. I appreciate that this offer was well meant but the last thing I wanted to do on my holiday was to be summoned to meet the chef and have him ask me to tell him what meals I wanted. Why do I have to tell the chef at a 5 star restaurant what to cook?? The next night I went to an a la carte after being assured that the head chef had arranged a vegetarian meal for me. The meal I received consisted of roasted carrots and other roasted vegetables. That's it. On a plate. At a 5 star resort. Give me a break. It almost felt like a deliberate trick. Worst experience was at one a la carte where I was told the head chef had been informed I was booked in etc. There was nothing vegetarian on the menu so I just asked for 'anything' vegetarian. After taking a bite or two from my starter, I realised that I had been served a meat dish. This was really upsetting, particularly given all the time and effort spent talking to the hotel about their vegetarian offering up to this point. I did not raise this incident with the management because, to be honest, by this stage I was sick of having to 'raise issues' and just wanted to enjoy my holiday. I really don't think it is too much to ask to have an allegedly 5 star hotel provide a decent and well thought out menu for vegetarian guests. All restaurants require you to use a QR code to look at menus. This is really disappointing as it means that you arrive at your table and immediately everyone has to get their phones out etc. It's really anti-social and I do wish the hotel would just have paper copies of the menus at all restaurants. Guests really do not want to spend their holidays with the heads stuck in their phones but there is no choice at this hotel. Please sort this out. Otherwise, good service generally. From the guards at the security gate and stepping into the reception area, right through to checking out, the whole experience was wonderful. The Guest Relations were extremely attentive, in particular, Bihter and Hülya, nothing was too much trouble. The use of WhatsApp to liaise between Guest Relations and guests, is a great idea. Even the simplest of queries or request can be dealt with quickly and efficiently. All concierge, reception, house keeping, bar and restaurant staff were very pleasant, polite and extremely attentive. The food and beverages were fantastic, although, due to the time of year, not all bars and restaurants were open, but I am sure when we return later in the year, we will not be disappointed. Our overall experience of this hotel and all staff has been amazing. Every area was spotless, with around the clock teams to ensure that the high standards of cleanliness were maintained. Personally, we can not think of any negatives in regards to any aspect of the hotel. We would definitely recommend that anyone who is considering this hotel to go ahead and book, they will not be disappointed.
