Anda Barut Collection – Ultra All Inclusive

Reception brilliant as we had a little problem checking in and it was sorted with no hassle We stayed in a swim up room and it was beautiful pool was lovely and warm Food not one complaint Cleanliness of hotel very good Staff competent Service from staff very good We will be back next year as we live in Altinkum 11 months of the year Does the hotel have WhatsApp number that can forward opening dates promotions etc

The staff have been lovely and the food has been outstanding. A la carte restaurants are very nice. Tiger ,Fish Restaurant, Kara Restaurant are very nice. Staff is kind to you. By the way Mücahit, whho is working in the department of Gyest relations.

Check in was the best ever experienced and a good start. We were directed to take a seat on the sofa’s in the lobby bar, offered a drink and chocolate strawberries. Keys brought to us. Our keys cancelled though on us twice so might be worth checking they are valid for the whole stay. The resort itself is lovely except the beach. Some areas near the bottom of the resort could do with a tidy too. The rooms are well equipped and the hotel overall is very clean and comfortable with nicely designed areas interiors and furnishings. Some of the corridors between buildings feel a bit clinical and not luxury hotel. The fairground and water park are great too. Well stocked mini bar, nice balcony furniture those elements of a nice place to stay are delivered. Oktoberfest one evening was really good but the information given didn’t tell us there was a buffet, it was the best buffet I saw on the whole holiday and a brilliant atmosphere. Although we gave up on the buffet I never saw any theme nights advertised there. Communication could be improved for events. This visit though has sadly changed my perception of Barut Collection Hotels and not for the better. Lara Barut was next on our trip list but if corners and budget and what is offered have been cut there as they have here compared to the Acanthus then my confidence has dropped and Im not willing to give it a chance now after spending a lot of money on this trip only to be very disappointed. There is a lot of snagging to be done with broken flooring internally and externally. Some parts of the exterior building need repairs. It makes areas look shabby and some of the walling looks very rushed with a poor quality finish but I expect this will be addressed in time. The food and service lets this place down. I don’t really get buffet seating in the main corridor that runs through the resort but that said its closest to the buffet but this doesn’t really help keep food warm, as food isn’t a good temperature when served. I got a potato wedge that was fridge temperature in the middle and was only being warmed by a heat lamp it didn’t penetrate to the middle, get the soup that stays hot. Getting drinks and coffees can take quite a long time at the buffet and you have to go look for someone, but we gave up on the buffet early on and went al a carte for breakfast lunch and dinner, not always the best either again spoilt by Maison Plage at the Acanthus. Offerings at the Anda feel like they are on a budget and don’t match the premium price this hotel asks. Strawberries we were told were rejected by the chef and not available but you can get them if you ask. There is some. The patisserie in the Anda is no where near as special as the Acanthus and fear the other hotels in the collection have had their budget reduced to offer the same items that are cheaper to produce and the chocolatier counter in Anda Barut offers only truffles of different flavours and nutty chocolate. We stayed for 8 nights in Oct half term with 14 & 17 year old teens. The hotel is stunning, immaculate & had a lovely feel. We had a 2 bedroom family deluxe suite. The room layout, storage provisions, comfort of the beds & amenities were excellent. Housekeeping great. The pool areas are beautiful, comfy loungers, spotlessly clean, fab drinks service with QR codes by the beds to order! Bonus was there was plenty of sun beds with no reserving at ridiculous hours. The evening entertainment was good. Waterpark awesome! Pools too cold. The quality of the drinks high & lovely alfresco dining areas…BUT unless the booking system for the al a carte restaurants is drastically improved we wouldn’t return. We spent (wasted) time when we’d much rather have been relaxing, at Guest Relations or on the what’s app they add you to, battling for restaurant reservations. Shouldn’t be the case when they are part of what you’re paying for!! It was a real shame. We were lucky & allocated bookings every night but know many weren’t. The hotel app connection was poor, hugely dislike the QR menus as being the only way to browse the menu - all sat on phones isn’t ideal. The food was good but we’ve had better. The lighting in some of the the al a cartes was far too bright & they lack atmosphere/ no theme which would improve them! Special mention to waiter Berkan & waitresses Simay & Tuba - credit to the hotel! We ventured into nearby Didim a couple of times for shopping but it wasn’t a highlight & not the nicest area.

Arrived end of October not sure what to expect having read some reviews, the pool areas were amazing so clean and fantastic pool service (adult area) everywhere is spotless, the staff are cleaning all through the day food and a la carte restaurants amazing and no trouble booking through guest relations Swim up rooms fantastic, End of October heated pools, Beautiful hotel

Very comfy bed and great sized room for us and our 10 month old. Cot bed (including duvet and pillow if needed) and bath provided including toiletries. Staff have been so accommodating to any request and great with babies! Go above and beyond to make us all happy and comfortable to enjoy our stay.
